    Yumyum! We ordered 2 types to take on our road trip this summer, fantastic idea! We had the special banh mi and the grilled pork. The special was soooo good. Perfect meat to bun ratio. Would definitely order this again. The grilled pork was too dry for my preference.

    I really wanted to try the mung bean pudding dessert here. It's one of my favourites growing up. Can't wait to come back!  The buns are so good.

    The menu board on wall shows only "chicken" sub" but actually you can choose regular chicken or lemongrass marinated chicken.  

    I ordered lemongrass chicken without jalapeno. Buguett seemed just baked. Crispy, light and soft.  Very warm. Chicken was very juicy.

    When I compared with Bahn mi Saigon on Victoria De., here's one has more stuffing and tastes light. Not salty at all.

    My mother in law brings home 5-6 banh mi's for my husband and I to eat on Fridays. These continue to stay delicious for the 2-4 days that we eat them. The bread and filling are so bomb here. Still my favourite viet sub in all of Vancouver and Burnaby! Lol I think I've had nearly 70/80 banh mi's in the past 8 months lol and have yet gotten sick of eating them.

    Crispy french bread, snappy pickled veg and layers of pork products all rolled into one? Yes please!

    This Vietnamese Sandwich Shop is the same shop located on Main Street near Chinatown. The  shop offers various sandwiches from the multiple layered cold cuts to vegetarian options, as well as complimentary drinks and desserts at an a amazing price.

    Staff are friendly and the location is clean. I would recommend this place for a quick bite.

    I've been going to Ba Le since I was little. My parents would take us here and buy bulk orders. It still taste the same since.. there  in house freshly made buns are crispy and nicely blended toppings are what make it so good. If you're looking for good banh mi spot. This place never disappoints. Almost a hidden gem if you're new to Vancouver.
